Ger is a Program Development, Organizational Development and Training Specialist. His programming strengths cut across a host of concepts ranging from Rights Based Approach (HRBA), Social Accountability & Monitoring (SAM), Organizational Development, Documentation, Rapportuering Strategic Planning and Resource Mobilization. Currently, Ger is a Capacity Development Adviser with MS ActionAid Denmark – a strategic capacity and support program for ActionAid Country Programs cutting across the aforementioned themes. Within the same facet, Ger supports community based organizations, women and youth groups on conceptualizing, implementing and monitoring Income Generating Activities (IGAs) at community levels. He has a vast understanding of community and capacity Development having professionally practiced in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania and Zimbabwe.

Janet A. Assimwe
Practice Director: Governance & Human Rights Programming
Janet is a registered Advocate of the High Court of Uganda; a Member of the Canadian Association for Refugee and Forced Migration Studies (CARFMS); writer She is an expert in the areas of; Human rights, Humanitarian interventions (Protection and Women Rights), Democratic Governance and Development. She has 13 years’ experience and individually or through organizational attachments undertaken various assignments in different organizations in Uganda, Switzerland, Zimbabwe and currently in Jordan as follows: Coordination of the Actionaid ARI regional Governance on Protection and Women rights; Planning and implementation of the Women Rights and Gender Based Violence; Human Rights advocacy and capacity building; Constitutional Development networking and advocacy efforts.
