Tafadzwa M. Muropa

Tafadzwa is a Gender and Governance consultant with 12 years working experience in the non-profit sector in East and Southern Africa. She has worked in Malawi, Uganda and Zimbabwe with organizations such as Progressio Malawi, ActionAid Uganda, ActionAid Zimbabwe, WeEffect-Southern Africa, Women’s Coalition of Zimbabwe. She is a holder of a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economic History and Philosophy with the University of Zimbabwe.  Her areas of expertise include program implementation oversight, rapportuering, documentation, resource mobilization, research, lobbying and advocacy, movement building and networking while her areas of interest include economic governance, electoral governance, extractives, gender equality, child rights and social policy.

Tafadzwa has worked on assignments with Media Alliance of Zimbabwe (MAZ), African Forum  and Network on Debt and Development (AFRODAD), Diakonia – Zimbabwe, UN Millennium Campaign Office-East and Southern Africa Office, Southern Africa Council of NGOs (SADC CNGO),Zimbabwe Coalition on Debt and Development (ZIMCODD), SEATINI. She is currently the programming head at Center for Natural Resource Governance (CNRG) in Harare – Zimbabwe.
